Once the Merchant Processor is switched over, the lender normally checks that the business owner is processing for one to two days. During this time period, the lender finishes checking on references to ensure that the merchant is current with his vendors, landlord, and/or franchise royalties (if applicable). Even though this aspect is very important, some lenders would be willing to help business owners who are behind on their rent or mortgages. Assuming everything checks out, the money can be wired or ACH-ed, and then posted to his bank account the next day.
